What is a Drum Circle?

A drum circle is a fun, exciting and powerful way to bring individuals together through music. Drumming encourages teamwork and builds skills in listening, participating, and leadership. Our goal is to help people build stronger communities through making music together in the classroom, at team-building events, and at community gatherings.

Drum Classes / Events

Students are not bound to any specific tradition and learn how to create their own rhythms as well.
Although the class is primarily taught on djembe drums (provided), the goal of the class is to teach people to play any hand drum with confidence and flare in any situation (drum circle, on stage, alone, etc.).
Most of all, the goal is to get people to truly enjoy the art of drumming! – Links to ongoing Olympia area drum and dance classes.
