Do you want to learn how to drum but don’t know where to begin?
Do you already know how to play a drum and want to learn new rhythms and techniques?
Are you already a good drummer and want to enhance your skills?
Those with prior experience will be given more challenging rhythms and playing techniques.

This is a universal style of hand drumming. This means that the class focuses on those aspects of drumming that are universal to most any drum or drumming tradition that utilizes hand drumming
The goal is to allow people to truly enjoy the art of drumming!

We will play rhythm games to sharpen your drumming and listening skills!
We will use exercises to enhance your technical skill and technique.
We will learn new drum songs each week from around the world.

This weekly class is guaranteed to be fun, challenging, and entertaining.

Do you want to play the hand drum, but don’t know where to begin? This fun introductory class is for you!

Geared towards beginners, we will cover basics such as hand drum anatomy, playing technique, and learn some rhythms to get you started.

Drums provided, or feel free to bring your own. No prior musical experience required!

Where in the world will our rhythm journey take us each Thursday night? We’ll learn rhythms from Guinea, Liberia, Haiti, and Cuba!

This series is most appropriate for those with some hand drumming experience, but it is not required. Don’t worry, it’s all about the fun! All you need is a sense of adventure and a willingness to play.

Non-traditional in nature we will explore a variety of world rhythms with a sense of fun. Bring your own drum or play one of ours.

A Drum Circle without drums? What’s that? Explore a variety of percussion instruments at this facilitated Drum Circle and create some groovy rhythms as a group. Triangles, shakers, wood blocks and clave are some examples of the instruments we’ll be playing with.

Bring your own percussion instrument or play one of ours! No musical experience required.

This workshop is for the experienced drummers. Come test your rhythm mettle and show us what you got! The content of this class depends on the group, whether it be tips on timing, technique, improving the quality of your sounds or learning some new rhythms.

This open level hand drum class will feature a variety of rhythms. Beginners and more experienced drummers are welcome and each will be accommodated accordingly.
